Most Restaurant guides list the best places to eat. One of the most famous of these is the Michelin series of guides which range from one to three stars to quality restaurants they perceive to be of high culinary merit. The Michelin Red Guide is regarded the most important of sorts, awarding up to three stars. One star indicates a “very good restaurant”; two stars indicate a place “worth a detour”; three stars means “exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey.”
Since there is an exclusive group of these restaurants and hot spots that are Michelin rated or rated 5 stars by other sources in Chicago.
We are on a mission to find out what makes them so special.
At 5 Star Dining we will share our dining experiences as well as some of the recipes we have been inspired to create by these exceptional restaurants and chef’s.
